I have an ID # in my family that comes up with no person attached AND I cannot detach them from a person they shouldn't be attached to...we used to be able to talk to someone (chat) at Family Search to solve technical problems, and enter a help request...help?

    @DKeeler

    FYI

    Welcome to the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum.

    I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...

    Just in passing ...

Here are some "Knowledge Articles", in 'FamilySearch':

    "Couple" Relationships.

A person in Family Tree has the wrong spouse

    https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/a-person-in-family-tree-has-the-wrong-spouse

    https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/a-person-in-family-tree-has-the-wrong-spouse

    "Parent-Child" Relationships

How do I correct parent-child relationships in Family Tree?

    https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/how-do-i-correct-parent-child-relationships-in-family-tree

    https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/how-do-i-correct-parent-child-relationships-in-family-tree

I hope, that this may help/assist, somewhat.

    Brett

    ps:

    FYI

CURRENTLY, the "Knowledge Articles", in the "Help Centre", have a, serious, KNOWN Problem/Issue ...

[ ie. Much, of the Articles, are NOT being displayed ... ]

That, has been reported; and, is being investigated, to try; and, address/fix ...

You may need to wait, until the problem/issue, has been resolved.

You would probably get a more detailed answer if you provided the ID for someone to look at because your initial comment seems to be in conflict where you say the ID has no person attached but you cannot detach where it is attached. I do not understand how is attached and not attached unless you are talking about a living record.
