FYI
I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...
Just in passing ...
So, that we may be better able, to help/assist you ...
Question: WHAT exactly do you want to "Edit"?
Please explain/clarify.
'Thank You', in advance,
Brett

Brett,
I found that someone has my great grandmother in a family tree and there are some items that are not correct. Is there a way to correct the information or to contact the person who created the profile?
Thank you

Generally ...
ANY "Registered" User/Patron, can "Edit", any "Items" on/against a "Deceased" individual/person ...
[ Of course, excepting the likes of, a "Read-Only Persons", a "Discussion"; or, "Temple" Work ... ]
One CAN, make any "Change", that one considers necessary ...
And, although, "Collaboration", is acceptable; and, often, appreciated ...
Contacting, the User/Patron, who "Entered"/Input", an "Item", is NOT necessary; nor, a requirement ...
IF, you consider, some "Item" is, wrong; or, lacking; THEN, you CAN make the necessary "Change" yourself.
[ But, be sure, to "Add", any support "Evidence", for such; or, the particular "Reason", for the "Change ... ]
Good Luck.
I hope, that this may help/assist, somewhat.

@LaWayne Napoles, the Family Tree on FamilySearch is a single, shared, open-edit tree, with the (lofty and distant) goal of having one and only one profile per deceased person. "Open-edit" means that anyone -- including you -- can correct nearly anything in it, after signing in.
There is, however, quite a bit more to FamilySearch than just the Tree. For example, there's the Genealogies section, which offers a publicly viewable and searchable (but not editable) "cloud storage" option for people's genealogy files. Some of the files go back many decades, others were uploaded today.
So, echoing Brett (yikes, what is the world coming to? 🙂), where exactly in FS's great sprawl did you find your great-grandmother's profile?

Hi.
Not to detract from anything that has been mentioned already, I have copied the URL of a Knowledge Article that might help if it's just 'basic' editing you're looking at doing'.
There are many other similar articles covering most entry types, just type your question into the search box in the Help Centre section for more detailed instructions.
As a basic guideline, most entries can be edited by clicking on the edit icon, (the pen and paper picture) to the right of the entry, and following the instructions.
Whatever you decide to do, please check and double check the changes you want to make to ensure that they are correct and accurate and back them up with relevant sources and notes.
All the best with your work.
Kind regards,
Barry
