Could someone fix the erroneous German locations added to the new FamilySearch?

I've been trying to work with the new erroneous German locations for several months now. I've managed to find ways, but it is embarrassing to post your locations in the German genealogy websites.

For example Weingarten, Germersheim, Pfalz is now "Weingarten, Aidenbach, Passau, Bavaria" WRONG!!!!

With American ancestors coming mainly from the Pfalz, suggesting that they now come from the Passau area is ludicrous. Passau is hundreds of miles away in the Southeast. It like Mar-a-lago--Hitler country--98% Catholic. Early America didn't allow for Catholics emigrants.

There are other small towns in the Pfalz that changed similarly and the new incorrect location for the towns are not even in Bavaria. The result is that search results can not be narrowed by state because Family Search may have put the town in an entirely different state or provence.

I'm not going to live much longer and may not be around to see this fixed, but I finally decided I had time to at least ask if something wasn't being done. I'm glad the retired records were not completely removed. They usually gave the correct location of the birth, marriage, or death. Now, the location is the location of the church book which is not always the event location.

Best Wishes,

Kathy

@N Tychonievich monitors these threads and reports to the developers. If you will post the specific URLs in this thread, I'm sure she will follow up.

@Kathy Kiernan please see this post regarding "Existing Historical Records Issues" https://community.familysearch.org/en/discussion/116253/existing-historical-records-issues#latest and supply specifics, with the URLs of records showing the error.

So, the answer is to report it. Should I re-post my question with specific urls? The URL in the answer doesn't work. The new FamilySearch offers no way to Contact Us (Them). Do the Engineers monitor the community of self-helpers? Where does one report the problems, if I have not already done so? Thank you. Kathy
