There is no problem with the new user interface. It is the search engine behind it that is a problem

Hello. I have no problem with the new user interface. It is the search engine behind it that is a problem. This is in the Search / Family Tree option. For example, I search for HusbandAncestorGiven / HusbandAncestorSurname. I get 508,143 results and 245 pages (20 per page). The math doesn't add up? 245 X 20 == 4,900, not 508,143? Then I click the Match Last Name Exactly option and search again. Now 169,733 results, and still 245 pages (?!) Well, at least it seems to be paying attention to the Exact Last Name? Indeed it is: typing in page number 245 (which actually IS the last page, what happened to the other 160 thousand or so?), shows they are all HusbandAncestorSurname's. Now I add search options: Spouse of WifeAncestorGiven / WifeAncestorSurname and click Search. Now 169,738 results, and 245 pages. (The 5 more results appears to be 5 records were added in the few minutes, because going back to no spouse is now also 169,738.) But at any rate, spouse info is just being completely ignored?! Now click Exact for the Spouse last name, and Search again. Still 169,738, so, yep: Spouse is simply ignored. How about Birth year? I type 1882, 1882 as the "range". Search. Still 169,738. So Birth Year is also simply ignored.
So conclusion: The search is broken.
Thanks, Steve

Yes, Find exact match is broken. It has been broken for weeks (months?). Engineers are working on it.
When it works it will be great!
