I have edited my profile picture which started to show upside down during Roots Tech. I edited it, and then I've tried to edit it several times since. The photo came from in Memories is correct so that is not the problem. I admit my life is much like my Profile Picutre - upended, but I do try to correct things when I can. Please help.

    @Briggs, Suzanna Reed

    When you edit a profile picture, there is an option to turn it around (top left corner). Are you saying that this does not work for you? Remember that, after editing, you may need to refresh the page to see the correct results of your edit. I have just tried it on one of my ancestors' pictures and was able to turn it around successfully and then back again.

    If so, there may be a glitch in the system. You could try uploading a new copy of the photo and using that for your profile picture.

    Regards

    I had to reload it 3 times (I waited in between attempts) but it took 3 attempts to get it to work. Ihad to start all over each time, but the wait time was the hardest. Thank you.

    Please note that sometimes you will need to refresh your computer after you do that as well as clear your cookies and cache. If you just want to clear the cookies and cache in Family Search then use www.familysearch.org/cookies. It will then ask you to Reset your cookies; click yes and then it is done in seconds

    Thank you Family Search

    I had to reload it 3 times (I waited in between attempts) but it took 3 attempts to get it to work. Ihad to start all over each time, but the wait time was the hardest. my son is a programmer and so he told me to delete and start over. Sometimes we forget how huge a database is needed to run FS. I think its much like when you make a call and the two don't quite connect and keep cutting out. Call again and it works. So try it at least twice. It took me 3 tries. Good Luck.
