Every time I try to create a new person from a record is keeps buffering. I haven't had this issue before on my Chromebook, until now. When I added person from my android phone, it worked fine. I don't know what the issue is. Any advice on how to resolve it, is welcome. Thank you.

Yes, that part of the web interface is sluggish today. I am seeing the same thing. Refreshing the page in the browser seems to help.

The website and the mobile app have different access points to the Family Tree databases. Also, the mobile app does some data caching, so you complete more of some tasks on the device before the device talks to the servers.

    Welcome to the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum.

    I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...

    Just in passing ...

[ And, I am certainly, no Expert; when, it comes to "Technology" ... ]

I would humbly venture to suggest, that "Chromebook", may be part of the problem/issue ...

Basically, as far as I am aware ...

"Chromebook" runs on a web-based 'Chrome' "Operating System"; which, is basically, a skinned down version, of the 'Chrome' "Browser", with some added functionalities.

"Chromebook", allows one to run full-featured Windows applications; and, is mainly for business users, though; and, not the best option, for regular consumer use.

Whereas, a few things "Chromebook" is not so good with is, Gaming; Multi-tasking; Video Editing; Use Photoshop; Lack of customization; Organising files is again quite difficult with Chromebooks as compared to Windows and macOS machines; little without an internet connection; and, Lack of proper storage.

    So ...

    That Said ...

    With such in mind ...

I would suggest, that 'FamilySearch', MAY not, be designed, to "Fully" support, the use of "Chromebook".

    Hence, your problem/issue.

    But ...

    That Said ...

Again ... And, I am certainly, no Expert; when, it comes to "Technology" ...

    Just my thoughts.

    Brett

ps: Personally, All things considered, I would NOT use a "Chromebook", to work with 'FamilySearch' ...

    .

    Update April 14 2022:

So I try creating the person on my android, Chromebook, and PC from the record and it still has not created them. The loading sign keeps buffering on all three devices when creating. Then I decided to create a different person from a different record and it worked just fine on all three devices. Why is it that I can create some of the people from records and I having issues creating others on different records?

I have just replicated your experience, @Gabby A Estrada Andrews. I noticed the popup to create the profile did not carry over the surnames, only Miguel Remigio. And now I am watching the loading icon.

This is the source index record, seen from the mother: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:DK4Y-SD3Z?from=lynx1UIV8&treeref=KJWP-PKM

I also notice that the record indexing is unusually tangled, with multiple edits. Is the entire set of records like this?
