wiki info changed in one place but not another

FYI
I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...
Just in passing ...
[ And, I happen to be a Member of the Church ... ]
[ Plus, I have been a Staff Member, of Family History Centres", of the Church, for many Years ... ]
Regarding ...
[ 1 ]
Find a Family History Center and FamilySearch Affiliate Libraries
https://www.familysearch.org/fhcenters/locations/
Lethbridge Alberta Family History Center
[ 2 ]
'FamilySearch' "Research Wiki"
Web page/screen for Lethbridge Alberta Family History Center
https://www.familysearch.org/en/wiki/Lethbridge_Alberta_Family_History_Centre
Now ...
That Said ...
Firstly ...
The Lethbridge Family History Center, is actually "Closed", at certain times during the Year.
Secondly ...
Unfortunately ...
The "Details" (ie. Especially, those of, "Opening"; and, "Closures"; and, "Hours of Operations"), of a "Family History Centre", of the Church, are NOT always "Up-to-Date", on the "Find a Family History Center and FamilySearch Affiliate Libraries", in 'FamilySearch'.
As, in the case of the Lethbridge Family History Center, they appear to relate/refer to, LAST Year.
[ ie. They have NOT been "Updated", to reflect THIS Year (2022) ... ]
Whereas ...
The "Web" page/screen, in 'FamilySearch' "Research Wiki", for the Lethbridge Alberta Family History Center, appears to be more current, with 2022.
But ...
That Said ...
Please be, aware; and, advised, that ...
It is NOT always the case, that the "Details" (ie. Especially, those of, "Opening"; and, "Closures"; and, "Hours of Operations"), of a "Family History Centre", of the Church, on the "Web" page/screen, in 'FamilySearch' "Research Wiki", are "Up-to-Date".
Thirdly ...
Sometimes ...
NEITHER,
(1) the "Find a Family History Center and FamilySearch Affiliate Libraries", in 'FamilySearch'; and/or,
(2) the "Web" page/screen, in the 'FamilySearch' "Research Wiki",
for a "Family History Centre", of the Church, are "Up-to-Date".
NONE of us are PERFECT ...
We ALL make MISTAKES ...
And, after all, this is ALL "Volunteer" Work ...
Plus ...
There are TWO (x2) DIFFERENT "Systems", involved, in updating, BOTH, the aforementioned.
Again, unfortunately, not, all those, Local Leaders, involved, in the 'Day to Day' Operations, of a "Family History Centre", of the Church, are up-to-date, WHAT is required, to maintain the TWO (x2) DIFFERENT "Systems"; especially, those who are NEWLY 'Called', to those positions.
Finally ...
As such ...
Personally, I would try, contacting the Lethbridge Family History Center directly by BOTH, Telephone; and, E-mail, to confirm the CURRENT, "Opening"; and, "Closures"; and, "Hours of Operations".
Good Luck.
Just my thoughts,
I know, that this certainly may not help/assist; but, I hope, that this may provide you with, some additional, insight; and, perspective; and, another avenue to pursue.
Brett
ps: The "COVID-19" Pandemic, has made things more DIFFICULT, just like everything else.
..... Some "Family History Centres", of the Church, are "Still" TEMPORARILY "Closed" ...
..... Whereas, some have "Reopened"; and, unfortunately, been forced, to "Close" AGAIN ...
..... There is NO consistency ...

The Center Consultant formerly called Director is the person with the authority to make the change to the hours, closure and events that appear on the "Find a FHC and FSAL" internet page. the center consultant uses the CDOL-Church Directory of Organizations and Leaders website to make changes in those 3 areas mentioned which are reflected in the "hours" and "notes" sections below. The center consultant should call for assistance to Family History Center Support 866-406-1830 Option 5 if he/she needs help.
