FYI
Welcome to the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum.
Just in passing ...
Suggestion ...
Check, that the "Place Name", for the Burial, of your Grandfather, is "Standardised" correctly.
Often, the "Place Name"; as, "Recorded", is correct; BUT, the "Standard", for that 'Place Name", has NOT been "Standardised" correctly.
Plus ...
As an aside ...
The "Discovery Pages", in "Ancestors.FamilySearch" [.org], of 'FamilySearch', DO NOT just use the "Place Name" that has been "Recorded"; as, such uses what that "Place Name", has been "Standardsied" as.
Also ...
Please note ...
That a "Change", to an individual/person, in the "Family Tree" Part, of 'FamilySearch', will NOT appear IMMEDIATELY, in the "Discovery Pages", in "Ancestors.FamilySearch" [.org], of 'FamilySearch'; and, will NOT do so, for a couple of Weeks.
The "Family Tree" Part, of 'FamilySearch'; and, the "Discovery Pages", in "Ancestors.FamilySearch" [.org], of 'FamilySearch', are Two (x2) separate and distinct programmes.
The "Family Tree" Part, of 'FamilySearch' maintains the "Data".
Whereas, the "Discovery Pages", in "Ancestors.FamilySearch" [.org], of 'FamilySearch', 'Pulls' from, the "Family Tree" Part, of 'FamilySearch'.
Every couple of Weeks, BOTH, the "Family Tree" Part, of 'FamilySearch'; and, the "Discovery Pages", in "Ancestors.FamilySearch" [.org], of 'FamilySearch', are 'Synchronise" together; so that, the "Discovery Pages", in "Ancestors.FamilySearch" [.org], of 'FamilySearch', can be "Updated", with any "Changes" made.
And ...
Please take the time, to read through, some of those "Knowledge Articles", that I provided, in my previous 'Comments' (above), in this post; as, there is much good information in those articles.
Good Luck.
Just my thoughts.
I hope, that this may help/assist, somewhat.

@ATancredi, check how the burial location is standardized for your grandfather. You can do this by going to his profile detail page and clicking "edit" next to the burial.
All dates and locations in the Family Tree have two values: display and standard. The display value is what is shown in Family Tree, while the standard value is what points at a specific location or date in the database. The two can be identical, but they don't need to be: the display can be more detailed, such as "At the sign of the white horse, Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg, Germany", or more abbreviated, such as "Stuttgart, Germany", while the standard will generally be a specific set of jurisdictions, such as "Stuttgart, Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg, Germany". The unfortunate drawback of this flexibility is that sometimes, it results in a place that looks perfectly correct, but is actually completely wrong behind the scenes. For example, it is possible to set the display value to "Stuttgart, Germany", and the standard to "Stuttgart, Phillips, Kansas, United States".
Unlike most places in Family Tree, which display the display value, the Discovery page displays the standard value. This means that one of the very few redeeming values of the fluff page is making visible any incorrectly-chosen standards.
