I am confused by my genealogy. I always thought my Dad was Scottish but I have found his grandparents came from Antrim Ireland. Although my grandfather was born in Glasgow. My DNA on Ancestry and 23 and me is really confusing. I have a lot of work to do still on my lines but have found quite a bit so far.

Since I have no children of my own I am doing the genealogy to give to my nieces and nephews and their children and so on as well as for my cousins.

I have been working on it for a year and a half or so and have a family tree on Ancestry.com with about 18,000 profiles although there are duplicates because additions need to be checked over and over.

I guess I just wanted to tell someone about my discoveries. I hope you don't mind my sharing.

I am curious about learning more.
