Alaska Films that need indexing
The Alaska Native groups need some work to do. Here are some films that we could do now while we're waiting for the 1950 census:
Film #007857837 at https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-CS77-CDBS?cat=16305 and film # 007831786 at https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-CS3W-T9DG-X?i=2&cat=26490 can be indexed by the Alaska Native Village Group at https://www.familysearch.org/indexing/groups/7cbd1871-09d2-4380-9563-61bf9534136f. Can this be taken care of asap? We need to do these.

Hello Inez, thank you for your comments. We assume that you are requesting that the records you mention are added to the list of films for Indexing?
Unfortunately, FamilySearch cannot accept requests to index-specific collections.
As we continue to grow, we are eager to provide as many records on the Internet as possible. However, the process for retrieving, indexing, and publishing records can be complicated, and it may take us some time to provide certain records. Some reasons for slower processing include:
- FamilySearch does not have legal permission to publish indexes or images.
- FamilySearch lacks access to some scanned images.
- Volunteer resources are limited.
We are as excited as you are to have more records available. We thank you for your patience as we work toward that goal.
