New Changes made to 'Find' on family search not helping

The new change made to the 'Find' query on family tree has made it impossible to find existing names. I'm not sure what changes were made that would cause this. In the past there was a drop down list when you entered the place, with existing locations. Now there is none. Although I enter the name, location and date (as I have done previously), no match comes up. Until I reenter the name as a new person, then sometimes the person I'm looking for appears in possible duplicates.

This change has made my research work so much more difficult. I wish the older find settings still existed—then I was actually able to find people.

    FYI

    I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...

    Just in passing ...

    As an aside ...

    Regarding, the NEW "Find" ...

The ADDITIONAL Options, are STILL, there; and, available, just NOT as obvious; as, in the OLD version.

    Pictorially ...

Where "More Options" is located/available ...

What appears; when, "More Options", is selected ...

What appears; when, ALL the "Options", are selected/opened ...

I hope, that this may help/assist, somewhat.
