I have found family members records, but the ability to link such record to the ancestor does not appear. This means that I cannot link family members to an existing tree. How do I overcome this? Its very frustrating.

First copy the ancestor's PID into your clipboard. Then from the record page use the Attach To Family Tree link to open the Source Linker. In the Source Linker, to the right, click Change and paste in the PID.
