For tech personnel There seems to be a glitch with Zimbabwe—Voter Registration, 1938–1973 [Part B]

When I do indexing or reviews on all other projects my totals add up as I complete the work.

On the Zimbabwe project if I index my totals add up. If I review some times it adds to my totals but many times there is no change. I also noted that it appears no-one is reviewing this project. The percentage of review has been 1% for months and months.

Over the last couple of weeks I spent some time reviewing this project to see if I could get a change in the review %. No change. I realize that I might have not completed enough reviews but...

I am wondering if there is a glitch in this project??

Hi, Thanks for your question. I've had a look at this and reviewed a batch myself, and I have seen the number of batches to review reduce.

    Before I did by review...

we see 19878 batches needing review, and after...

we see that this has reduced to 19877 batches needing review. So as long as this number keeps dropping I think everything looks fine, and hopefully see it will move up to 2% complete.

It's hard to tell for sure, but it looks like it needs around 600 batches reviewed to take it from 1% to 2%.

Worth watching to see this change!

Best wishes and thanks for your help in this great work.

I appreciate the answer but that doesn't explain why it adds to my totals sometimes and not others. I was wondering if others were having the same issue and that is why no one is reviewing in this particular project.

Have done the same experiment as you and when it adds to my totals the count to be reviewed does drop. I agree with that.

Maybe there is an issue with my connection?? Sometimes when I submit it takes a long time to go through.

@LarryClark43 Have you tried clearing cookies? Maybe all the hundreds/thousands of people reviewing names for 1950 Census could slow the FS system? 😎

maryellenstevensbarnes1, KevinRobinson, Thank you both for your help and suggestions. I will try cleaning house and then try again.
