What to do about special characters in names?

Reviewing Arizona and New Mexico, there are names written with Spanish characters (ñ, é, ó, etc.) that are not being recognized by the AI. The review names screen doesn't have a character keyboard like other FamilySearch indexing projects. Should we be correcting these names by copying and pasting Spanish characters from a keyboard map?
