First question...Since I'm new to the community help I don't know if it's ok to put a snippet in on what my question is... is this ok to do?

And if so, does anyone know what that small writing stands for after the name?

I'm assuming this is a snippet from an index of land records. If so, it would appear to me that the grantor (or seller) was the executor(s) of the estate of Joseph Vvegele (or whatever that name is in the snippet). I've seen this notation a number of times in deed indexes.

Welcome to the Indexing Community. The best way to get help is to share the batch code which is the series of letters and numbers in brackets following the title of the project. [XXXX-XXX]

Pretty sure the surname is Voegele.

No, you would ignore those small letters that are abbreviations. You also don't create records when it says & Wife. If the wife's name isn't mentioned, no record is created for her. Alot of folks use the surname and a Mrs., but, that gets deleted on reviewing!
