while searching, there is an error where all witness to a christening or death or marriages are considered family members. These creates a problem for sorting documents.

A lot of indexes don't include witnesses. It's mostly the A.I.-generated ones that do.

Unfortunately, the ones I've run into so far often have a lot of innaccurate information. But assuming that those indexes are cleaned up, and that other indexes are redone to pull in that additional information: it would make sense to have advanced search options for "core parties only" (child and parents on christenings or births, parties and parents on marriages, deceased and child, spouse or parent on deaths), "auxilary parties only" (officiant, witnesses, godparents, etc.), and "all parties".
