Unable to log into FS or Memories app with new password.
Since we had to change our LDS password last week, I can no longer sign into either the FamilySearch or the Memories app with either my old password or the new one.
I can log into the Church website with the new password.
On the FamilySearch website I can no longer choose to use either my existing FamilySearch password or login with my Church account. I can ONLY log in with. my Church account, with two step verification...
But my main problem is that neither password works with the apps.

I think that several people have experienced this problem, and it seems that your computer has retained your old password for some reason. Try clearing your cache and cookies, this is reported to work.
Kind regards,

I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...
[ And, I happen to be a Member of the Church ... ]
Just in passing ...
Please be, aware; and, advised, that ...
OUR, Church Account; and, 'FamilySearch' Account, are NO LONGER as closely aligned/in "Synch", like BEFORE
They NOW operate, on DIFFERENT "Passwords", if one was RECENTLY "Changed".
Now ...
That Said ...
IF, you "Change" your password, in your Church Account; THEN, that DOES NOT, correspondingly "Change", the password in your "FamilySearch' Account.
ie. A NEW password in one's Church Account, will NOT necessarily work, in one's 'FamilySearch' Account.
As such ...
On your "Mobile" Device, for BOTH, the "Mobile" ('FamilySearch') Application; &, the "Memories" Application ...
TRY, the OLD (ie. PREVIOUS) password, that used to work, to access them.
Here is a "Knowledge Article", in 'FamilySearch':
FamilySearch and Church Account Split
https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/familysearch-and-church-account-split
Good Luck.
I hope, that this may help/assist, somewhat.

I managed to fix this...I had tried both my "old" password and my "new" password...neither worked. So I chose "Help" and said "Forgot Password". Then I got a link to reset my password, which I did supplying the "new" password I had already tried unsuccessfully. Then it worked in both apps. The reset password was exactly the same as my "new" one that hadn't worked previously.
