I must not understand the differences between both pages. Would someone please explain?

Family members added to either the "Person" or "Tree" view do not show up automatically on the other, requiring duplicating the work.

Thank you

You just need to refresh your browser screen for it to show up in the other view.

Hi, Just something to be aware of, if you were duplicating the work then you may now have some duplicated individuals in your tree. This guide may help you if you need to do some merges.

Suggestion: We recommend that you work from the Person/Details page. This prevents people putting information in the wrong place. It helps to work one person at a time and ensures the information for that person goes into the correct place.

The tree view only normally displays direct line ancestors. Thus is you add a not direct line person say a sibling of an ancestor or child of an ancestor from the person page they will not show when you view your tree. If you provide the specific ID's of individuals added you might bet a better answer as to what is going on.
