I have had someone from Hawiaii messing up my family tree that I have been working on for months now and as of March 22 they have really messed up my tree.

    Char Duff

    CMGD1

I am extremely upset at this time. He/she has moved one person into my greatgrandfathers place, moved my grandfather into a tree

@celesteoprean –– could you share an affected profile ID?

The following ID's are messed up

GD7Q-LHH is brother but attached as son

GDY8-GJR is the only bride, someone unknown attached.

G8Z7-VH5 had only one husband, current three are attached. The only one that should be attached is GQWX-9W5

G8Z4-9WZ has his mother attached as a wife, she is G8Z7-VH5

LLW4-G4Q has LLW4-G1B attached as wife and is not. She was his sister

    LRRJ-X95 is the deceased son-in-law of LLW4-G4Q and G8Z4-978

GDY8-GJR: her husband G697-83C has only her attached. There is a duplicate link between him and their son G697-2X3. From either the father's profile or the son's profile, on the details page break the second link to the son. The pencil-and-paper icon beside the son's name in the parents' lists is your relationship editing tool.

G8Z7-VH5: her husband who should be attached appears to be GQWX-9WJ. From her details page simply detach the other two men. Use the editing tool between her name and theirs. This will resolve some of the other issues.

The rest of the issues you will now know how to fix.

The most effective prevention of future errors like this is to correctly attach all the outstanding source hints and standardize the event dates and places. Whenever someone else makes a bad attachment, you might help them make the correct attachment elsewhere.

Everyone here is still learning how to do it. The Family Tree platform is growing and we are all trying to catch up.
