How to remove a duplicate person?

I have a issue with the family tree site. It has a duplicate name in the wrong place. Trying to put the wife's name in with the husband's name which is jr. Instead it pops up in sr. Which is the father of the Jr. Can anyone tell me, could this possibly be the same person, but someone has put the same people as separate couples and suffix? I hope to get an answer soon. Vivian

    @VivianCosta1

    Could you please provide us with enough information to be able to view the person, such as the identification number (PID). Then we may be able to advise.

    thanks

    Jr. and Sr. have to have different ID numbers.

    Often, what has happened is sources have been attached to the wrong profile. If you share the relevant profile ID numbers here we can take a look and help you diagnose and fix the problem.

    FYI

    I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...

    You need to be MORE specific.

    Of course, a Son (with, the "Suffix", of 'Jr'/'Junior'); and, a Father (with, the "Suffix", of 'Sr'/'Senior'), WILL have, DIFFERENT 'FamilySearch Person Identifiers' (PIDs); as, they are two (x2) separate/distinct individuals/persons.

    Question:

    Or, are you saying, that that the SAME individual/person, in the "Family Tree" Part, of 'FamilySearch', has TWO (x2) separate/distinct 'FamilySearch Person Identifiers' (PIDs); where, one PID has the "Suffix' of 'Jr', in the "Name"; and, the other PID has the "Suffix" of 'Sr', in the "Name"?

    Please advise/clarify.

    That may help/assist others, to formulate their comments.

    'Thank You', in advance.
