I found a suggestion to move a memory to "My Archive" but I don't know what the archive is or how to access it. Can you explain?

    @Greg Jones

    Here is an article from the Help Center that will explain what the archive is and how to access it.

    https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/my-gallery-in-memories-is-too-full

    Listed below are the steps to add a memory to your archive, but we believe you will benefit from reading the entire article.

    Steps (website)

    1. While signed in on FamilySearch, click Memories.
    2. Click the memory that you want to add to archive.
    3. Click Actions, and then click Move to My Archive.
    4. Select an existing album, or enter the name for a new one.

    Another article that explains how to remove a memory from your archive may be helpful as well.

    We hope this helps.

    Truth is though - I personally don't see the point of the Archive folder.

    I simply group things into different albums as I categorize things.

    I just don't get the point of the need for the archive folder.
