I, too, need to change some incorrect information on my mother's discovery person page. Can't find a way to edit it. Someone please answer about how to do this! Here is her page: https://ancestors.familysearch.org/LRS4-7X6/barbara-joan-boesel-1935-2017?cid=tree-ancestors-r9+Person_Header_copy

I would also like to change something on my father's Discovery person page. The "Meaning" of his surname "Joque" is listed as a variant of a Muslim name, when in fact it is a simple mispelling of the French-Canadian name Jacques. I recommend that Family Search NOT use an algorithm to assign supposed ethnicities and meanings to surnames, as spellings can vary and national origins, ethnicity, and even the meaning within a correct national origin could be misconstrued. Thank you.

The Antilles bit is likely due to a mis-standardized place on the person's profile. It will not show on the Details page, because that shows the display value, which is likely completely correct. It's the behind-the-scenes association with a standardized entry in FamilySearch's Places database that's wrong. To fix it, go to the person's profile and look for an entry for a residence with the same date as the error. Click "Edit" next to the residence and check the standardized place associated with it. If it's wrong, change it. The Discovery page will eventually (like in a few weeks) catch up to the correction.
The name origins fluff piece cannot be changed. Just ignore it: it's not actually used for anything in the Tree.
