A family member has died in a foreign country. They have and LDS church record. How do I get that record information released into Family tree?

Please accept our condolences for the loss of your relative. Are you asking how to add a death record to this person? A Ward Clerk should post the death of the person in the ward they are assigned. Once their death is posted into their record, their account is closed.

If you are asking how to post their date of death, follow these instructions:

    https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/how-do-i-change-a-status-from-living-to-deceased-in-family-tree

What happens when an account holder of FamilySearch dies, you can read the information below.
