A person changed my Tree

Hi Sharon
Nothing is more frustrating than someone tampering with 'our' tree, but in FamilySearch, it is 'The' tree. That's because it is a worldwide tree that anyone can add to, bringing names and families together. However, not everybody is as diligent as they might be, and errors can occur, although they can usually be corrected. The thing to remember is that It isn't your own personal tree.
At the top right of your FamilySearch page, you will find a question mark in a circle - this is the Help icon. Clicking on it gives you the opportunity to click on Help Centre at the bottom of the drop-down menu that appears.
In the Help Centre, you will see a dialogue box, where you can type your question, or some key words, and you can then scroll down and select the answer that best matches your needs. There are also some suggested topics that may help narrow your search.
I have added a couple of Knowledge Articles below which may be able to help you. Click on them, or copy and paste the URL into your browser and they will open, but if you need more help, just let me know.
Kind regards,
Barry

Go into Latest Changes from either "King tut tut" or Mary Hinton's main page. Against this particular change you will see the name "JoshuaStaggs2". Just click on that name and send a message asking if this is a genuine mistake, or (in a polite manner) whether he is just messing around.

BarryJohnson, Thanks for getting back to me. I'm not happy with the guy that put "King Tut Tut" in the middle of the tree. I will have a lot of work to fix it and he also switched one entire line and connected it to another. Sharon Roberts.
