The page comes up with 'Delete person unavailable,' because several people have followed the information. Please delete this person from my tree, and advise others that it is incorrect.

Yes, no more email and for many of us (I'm in the UK) no direct phone line for "Help". This is the main (or only) way of reporting things or getting queries answered, so many of us come here regularly to help and be helped. Actually, if you provide an ID for the individual concerned, you will often find someone will volunteer to do the necessary work for you. But, generally, we are expected to look up the relevant Help articles and make the adjustments ourselves - not so easy for many users.

It's 'Brett'
'No', as far as I can recall, that "E-mail" Address for the "Europe" Area, has been there, a little while now ...
[ I've always been somewhat envious of both, "North America" & "Europe", Areas, with "E-mal" Addresses ... ]
'Yes' ... if only things were that simple ...

Jan, you are aware that the Family Tree on FamilySearch is an open-edit communal endeavor, right? Communal means that there is no "my tree" or "your tree" -- it's all one tree, intended to have one and only one profile per deceased person. Open-edit means that anyone can fix (almost) anything -- but it also means that if it says "delete person unavailable" for you, it says exactly the same thing for everyone else, too. You'll have to get rid of the incorrect profile by editing the incorrect relationships (since it sounds like merging the profile away would not be an appropriate solution in this case).
Out of curiosity, who do you believe yourself to be addressing with your request? FamilySearch does not employ anyone to work in the Tree, except for a few very specific areas (such as read-only profiles), and most of the members of this Community are simply fellow users of FamilySearch, just like you and me.

To answer your curiosity, I thought I was sending the message to someone who could help resolve the problem. There have been so many changes to Familysearch over the 45 years that I have been using it, and showing other people how to use it, as a Library consultant in my local FHC, that I couldn't find a link to the contact section, that I was looking for.
It comes back to my advice to all users over the years, to check and verify what they are adding in to 'my tree' or any other tree, before they add it!
Thank you

It's 'Brett'.
On the contrary, you DO have an "E-mail" Address, for 'FamilySearch' "Support", for the "United Kingdom" ...
[ And, "Ireland"; as well ... ]
ie.
Europe Area FamilySearch Support
Email support is available for this area at the address: eu_support@familysearch.org
As, the "United Kingdom"; and, "Ireland', come under, the 'FamilySearch "Support", for Europe ...
Although, NO LONGER any direct either, "Telephone" contact number; and/or, "Live Chat" ...
Being in:
Contact Us
https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/contact-us
Just my thought.
Brett
ps: And, although my particular "Area" has access to both, "Telephone" contact number; &/or, "Live Chat" ...
..... We DO NOT have, an "E-mail" Address, to contact 'FamilySearch' "Support", in our "Area".
