    Hi,

You will need to read the project instructions to get complete clarity on which fields are required. You do not mention which batch you are indexing so I can't advise further. However, with most batching I've indexed there has been no suffix listed and so I have just marked this field as blank. (Ctrl + B).

Thanks for the great work you are doing with your indexing.

Yes, please share your batch. Go to help>Share batch and then copy the link and paste it here.

It seems I didn't understand what you were asking. I agree that if there is a box for a suffix and no suffix is recorded for the individual, then you need to mark it <blank>.

Field Helps - the purple question mark - provides instructions for the Suffix box :

Using the most appropriate term from the drop-down list, type the suffix according to what was indicated in the document. (Click the down arrow at the right of the entry field to see the drop-down list.)

If more than 1 name suffix was given, select Other.

If a suffix was not recorded, press Ctrl+B to mark this field blank.

Thank you indexing these precious records 😎
