Volunteer to help index 1950 Census

I submitted the form to FamilySearch.org to volunteer myself and the small Genealogy Club I run to help index the 1950 Census. The form I submitted was at:

https://www.familysearch.org/en/info/1950-census-community-project

I have not had any response. How do I find out if my submittal was received by familysearch.org? When will I find out how to help?

Thanks

    Hello Lescar,

People that have signed up will receive updates in the email you used to sign up for the 1950 Census. When you signed up, you should have seen a pop up in the upper right corner of the screen with a checkmark. The pop up would have said you are signed up and will receive updates at the email address in the form.

I tried signing up several weeks ago and never saw the pop up you mentioned. I was also confused by an allusion that seemed to imply that my society or organization would be contacted. Does that mean that we can not sign up as individuals? Must I join an organization and does it need to be LDS-affiliated?

I don't remember if there was a pop-up or not. When will the email updates start?

I signed up about 2 weeks ago and have not received anything. Should I sign up again?

    Thanks, lescar
