I have a cousin who was killed while flying as a bombardier on a B-24 Liberator over Formosa. His burial record states, "Burial Details Unknown, Specifically: Bomber shot down over Formosa, WWII." When I put that information in the Burial section, it objects with a red explanation mark and in red asks for a standardized burial place. How can I remedy this situation?

Hello @Pamela J. Jesperson I would be inclined to include that information in the Life Sketch section at the top of the person page. Then put Formosa as the burial place.

Just my thoughts. The Life Sketch section can be so useful, yet can be often overlooked.

I like your suggestion and in fact I had already done a life sketch with some of that information included. Thank you for your suggestion, Pam

I did what you suggested and it solved the problem. Your help is greatly appreciated. Pam
