You "deal with" multiple births exactly the same way you deal with any other siblings. They just happen to have the same birthdate. FamilySearch will display them in alphabetical order; if you know their birth order, you can put it under Other as a custom fact.

    @michael dgoersmeyer

Do you have an example of what you mean? I have not found any twins with just one record between them.

    Michael

    I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...

    Just in passing ...

What do you mean, that "... But you cant add the record to both indivisuals ..."

'Yes', one CAN "Add" BOTH individuals/persons ...

One adds them; as, separate individuals/persons ... one after, the other ...

It is; as, simple; as, that ...

    It works just fine ...

[ I have both, 'see'; and, recorded, "Twins", in the "System" ... ]

Twins; and, Tripletts, appear/exist in the "Family Tree" Part, of 'FamilySearch'.

So, that we may better, be able to help/assist you.

Please advise/clarify, WHY, you feel, that Twins; and, Tripletts, cannot be recorded in "Family Tree".

    'Thank You', in advance.

    Brett

I've been ruminating on this question (as a twin myself, it interests me), and I have a thought: could the problem be a mis-indexed record? I've only encountered this in the other direction, where a child with multiple given names was indexed as multiple children, but I can well believe that it can happen the other way, where multiple children are indexed as a single person with multiple names. (Presumably it's more likely with **** siblings, but if one of them is named Maria and they're Catholic, all bets are off.)

If such an indexing error is at the root of the question, then I go back to my answer back in March: you deal with it for multiple births exactly the same way you deal with it for anyone else. When someone was missed in indexing, you can use your Source Box to attach a copy of the closest index citation, or you can create a citation directly of the image using the URL, or some combination of the two approaches. In short, you may need to take some extra steps, but yes, you can add the same record to multiple individuals.

Gah, when did the censor come through and change "same s e x" to asterisks, and why on Earth did it do so?

And in case it does it again, I'm talking about the biological version of "same gender".
