Ohio Probate Records, 1789-1996 Jackson Indexes 1819-1883 vol 1, image 101 of 337;

I am trying to find probate records for Hannah Gray who died before 23 Oct 1851. I've found info in other court records on your website but not in the journals and records as listed in the enclosed photo. Those listed in this document do not seem to match journals and records you have online. I believe some are from Chancery records and others are from the Court of Common Pleas.

    The FamilySearch Research Wiki is the place to look this up. See https://www.familysearch.org/en/wiki/Jackson_County,_Ohio_Genealogy

    FamilySearch has many collections that are viewable but not yet indexed. The Research Wiki is the finding aid for all known collections, whether indexed or not.

    Thank you! I'll check the wiki. I've been using the catalog and searching "places" for available records. Most of the records I've found are not indexed, but I am glad they were scanned and digitized.

    By the way, Research Wiki also lists known collections external to FamilySearch.
