Need to get death date in for distant Aunt
My distant Aunt Virginia Virginia Alston Living • LNJ3-1VN died on 27 March 2021 and the reference is the Commercial Appeal. She is buried in Memphis, Tenn. I need the family search membership department to put in her death date and make it official please. No I can't do her temple work right now as she has living sons and a daughter who might object.

It takes too long to correct an error, specifically on a duplicate entry showing a living person is deceased. How can we speed up the process to allow merging duplicated individuals with erroneous death or living indications?

@CookeWilliamB1 , first go ahead and mark her Living record deceased and enter in her DOD then merge her with any correct duplicates FS shows. If you don't find a duplicate that was generated by her membership clerk marking her death a MOD will need to move your request to a specialized team that can assist you in getting the membership DOD recorded.
