7 pages of København baptism records indexed with the wrong year

This afternoon as I began working on Knud Jørgensen (LZGQ-VTK), I noticed that a baptism record for the same child had been listed in both 1826 and 1827.

Upon closer examination of the record, he problem appears to begin on page 107 of the register where a random record for a baptism in October 1826 appears below a record for March 1827. (https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3QS7-L94W-4434?i=85&cc=2078555. There's another 1826 baptism record on pg 110.)

Rather than noticing that all of the dates listed on the the previous page were in 1827, indexers continued using 1826 as the event year through pg 115--where 1827 is specified at the top of the date column.

I can easily change the entry on the daughter of my ancestor, but is there an easy way to fix the rest of the baptism dates for the other children listed in the book?

Thanks,

Kari

Unfortunately, no, FamilySearch does not have any sort of provision for "batch" corrections to indexes. Either we (the users) fix them one at a time (if it's a correctable index), or they stay incorrect.

    Sigh. Thanks.
