Names incorrectly spelt.
My parents' names and my brother's name are incorrectly spelt on the Family Search records and the 'edit' feature is not allowed on their pages. I have birth certificates, etc. showing their actual names. How do I get these mistakes corrected?
My father was Wilfred Potts - recorded on FS as Wilford Potts. My mother was Sarah Potts, née Sarah Wild - sometimes in her later years, she signed her name as Sarah WIld Potts. My brother's name was Wilfred Melvin Potts (deceased February 2021). He is recorded as Wilford. I would really like to get these names changed to the correct ones. How do I do that, or how do I get it done?

FYI
Welcome to the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum.
I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...
[ And, I happen to be a Member of the Church ... ]
Just in passing ...
I understand you concern, with the "Spelling" of the "Names".
And, I 'see', a number of Census' records (including those of the Church) with the "Variant" spellings.
But ...
That Said ...
You really need not be too concerned.
Regardless, of the Spelling "Variants", in those "Names", the "Indexes" themselves, DID their JOB; as, you found the Records (ie. the "Sources") ; and, have (and/or, CAN) attach those Relevant "Sources".
Wilfred POTTS ( KWJX-9XZ ) ... Later ... Wilfred Hobson POTTS (as per Death Registration) ... you Father
That "1911, Census of England" DOES NOT need to be "Edited"; as, it is CORRECTLY "Transcribed".
IF, you access the "Image" of the "Source"; THEN, you will 'see', that the "Given' Name actually appears (ie. is recorded ) as "Wilford".
And, I can 'see' the various associated Census' of the Church, with his 'Given' Name; as, sometimes "Wilford"
Plus, here is his Birth Registration (as, Wilfred POTTS), that you can also attach:
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:2FD5-DHF
Sarah WILD ( KWYW-JNH ) ... your Mother
I can 'see' the various associated Census' of the Church, with her Name as Sarah Wild POTTS.
[ or, a Variant of the 'Middle' Name of "Wild" ... ]
But, regardless, "Wild" is NOT her 'Middle" Name.
I CANNOT find her Birth Registration - certainly NOT as "Sarah WILD" (or, variant there of).
Plus, here is her Death Registration, (ie. Married) Name, as "Sarah POTTS", that you can also attach:
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:QVZ8-1C2Z
Wilfred Melvin POTTS ( G6CW-24Z ) ... your Brother
Just like your Mother ...
Just DO NOT worry about those Variant spelling in the Census' of the Church.
Plus, here is his Birth Registration, that you can also attach:
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:QVQY-R9B5
Again ...
Please, DO NOT, be too concerned, with the Variant "Spelling" of "Names", in the various "Source".
They really, DO NOT, need to be "Edited" - Especially, if they have been "Transcribed" CORRECTLY.
But ...
CERTAINLY, attached them, regardless.
IF, you are concerned; THEN, you certainly can, add a "Note", about any Variant "Spelling" of the "Name", in the "Title", of the particular "Sources".
Just my thoughts.
Good Luck.
I know, that this certainly may not allay your concerns; but, I hope, that this may provide you with, some additional, insight; and, perspective; and, the ability to continue (and, "Attach" ALL those "Sources).
I hope, that this may help/assist, somewhat.
