Creating multiple entries for multiple names on Deed Record?
I have multiple questions about creating multiple entries for multiple people on a deed record. Keep in mind that this is all one deed record.
A record I'm looking at right now has a man and his wife listed as the grantors to the property and three other family members listed as the grantees to the property. So with all of these names, do I put the man and his wife as grantors on one entry? Or do I create separate entries for them? Or do I leave off the wife and create one entry for the husband?
And then with having three people listed as the grantees, do I put all of the names on one entry line? Or do I create separate entries for each of them? Or do I only index the names of the first person on the list and ignore the rest?
I should note that I tried looking through the indexing guidance page and didn't find anything helpful, hence why I'm here. Thanks in advance for all of your help!

Hi Ethan.
Please share your batch information for the most accurate advice. Go to Help>Share Batch to learn how. I'm suggesting this because the instructions for these projects can differ somewhat on how to treat multiple grantors and grantees. You may/probably need 2x3=6 separate entries sharing all information but their names to account for all possible grantor-grantee pairs. But to be sure, please share your Batch.

Thanks for your help John! Here is the link to the batch that I am currently working on: https://www.familysearch.org/indexing/batch/de9c0435-72a6-48d2-a018-a2ae460e71e0

You're welcome, Ethan.
Below is the pertinent information from the What To Remember About This Project section of the Project Instructions. In the specific type of case you mentioned (2 individuals as grantors and 3 individuals as grantees) you would indeed need 2X3=6 separate entries (see below - the second bullet) per the second bullet. The first bullet tells you what to do if some grantee pairs involve government or companies. In particular, if both were the latter, create no entry - you'd skip them.
- When a company or government organization was listed as the grantor or grantee, mark the respective field blank and index any other information on the line. If both the grantee and grantor were companies or government officials, skip the entry, and index the next entry with names of individuals.
- Index each entry or document independently. Some grantors or grantees may be listed several times. Index each occurrence as a separate entry.
