Get Involved shows in the FamilySearch.org header rather than indexing. However, Indexing is now a subheading of Get Involved, along with Overview and My Opportunities.

  • Overview: Includes details about Get Involved and what you can do. On the Overview page, you can:
    • Try out the app
    • Share with family and friends
    • Download the app
    • View additional volunteer opportunities
    • Access the FamilySearch online community.
  • My Opportunities: Includes various volunteer opportunities, some statistics, and will eventually display region-specific statistics.
  • Indexing: Indexing will still be available as a volunteer opportunity. You can find an indexing project, view the batches you are currently indexing, view indexing totals, progress, messages, and groups as you did on the former Web Indexing page.
