What mobile app version should I use for Get Involved?
For all countries worldwide, you can access the Get Involved experience on the web here.
For the United States and countries in Latin America, the Android app is available in the Google Play store.
- Android: 1.0.8 (requires Android 8.0 or later)
For the United States and countries in Latin America, the iOS app is available in the App Store.
- iOS: 1.0 (requires iOS 14.0 or later)
Note: The app will be available to more countries as records are made available for the Names Review activity. Stay tuned, and please keep checking.
You can download the apps by clicking the correct button here. (See the screenshot below.)
Updates both Android and iOS apps will be made available as they are developed.

@Norm Jones, thank you for your patience, and please accept my apologies. There were some last-minute decisions made regarding making the apps available in all countries worldwide until more records are made available through the computer-aided indexing tool which will then be uploaded in the Names Review activity. I have corrected my initial post to reflect this additional information. For now, you can access the web experience here: https://www.familysearch.org/getinvolved/. Thank you for your willingness to try this new experience.

I can't find the app for Android or iOS. Is it not available in Australia?

@Norm Jones, thanks for your question. Get Involved was released worldwide earlier today. It is available in Google Play for Android and is coming soon for iOS. (I revised my initial post.) There is also a Get Involved web experience here.

Well I've waited another day and it's still not available here, as far as I can tell.

Thank you, @Norm Jones, for your feedback. Here is some additional clarification. For the Names Review activity, because there are only documents from Latin America and the United States at this time, you can only access the app in those locations. More records from around the world will be added to the Names Review activity in the future, and the app will then be made available in additional countries as they are launched. However, anyone worldwide can access the web experience here: https://www.familysearch.org/getinvolved/. We appreciate your patience.

I can't. From the link https://www.familysearch.org/getinvolved/my-opportunities, then the box "Find Names to view", when I fill in details and click on Search the wheel just keeps spinning. I tried just now, and also a couple of days ago. I am in Australia.
