Re general Answers to questions others have asked
I read the questions of others. Some are interesting (tho' not related to me) but relate to similar queries I have posed..... not about specific people or families.
I was interested in the GENERAL answers of the experts ... However apparently this not allowed. Not helpful & it seems a waste of time ... So What is the point of this section of the section? {note I am generally a big fan of this site}

I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...
Just in passing ...
Please be, aware; and, advised ...
This "Community.FamilySearch" Forum, was originally established, a number of Years ago, on the premise of
Users/Patrons. HELPING / ASSISTING, Users/Patrons ...
And, the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum, has been successfully operating, for all those many Years ...
In this "Community.FamilySearch" Forum ...
There are Beginners ...
And, there are Experts ...
Plus, EVERYTHING in between ...
Where, we ALL, can Participate ...
[ ie. BOTH, 'Asking'; and, 'Answering' (where one can) ... ]
Just my thoughts.
Brett
ps: And, that is in ALL the 'Categories" (including: "General Questions"); and, the 'Groups' ...

No help whatsoever - All "Gobblygook" - I thought Family Search was All About Assistance to 'Dumbos'! - Have Had fabulous communications over passed years but now it's becoming SO DIFFICULT for us older folk (many who are very experienced & have researched well before the digital age) ,,, We are just giving Up...& we So Wish To Be Helpful! Many have done all the research we need to do - BUT happy to pass on info or research tips to others - either re our own families or re general research - particularly in countries other than America.. Modern Technology - rather than making this easier is actually obliterating access by - The Young, - Beginners - & Older Folk Just Starting Out - The Folk NOT Experienced re research OR Not having access to the online stuff many think is normal. We do not all live in major cities - do not have modern IT access or even reliable It access at all - We do not all have access to one-on-one IT access - We do not all have relatives or friends who can do it for us. Have to say that in the past Family Search has always been the BEST Of Help - but recently becoming just as hard to access/contact as the rest of the sites. Please go back to referring to the older folk who ran the site at least a decade ago.... many of the young folk have not a clue!.... We oldies will pass on - the history will be lost!
Just trying to help.

You are not alone ...
I myself, am one of the older folk, who has some experience; and, researched, well before, the "Digital Age"; but, I have also embraced the "Digital Age" ...
Oh; and, plus, I am NOT from, "North America"; or, the "United Kingdom"; or, "Europe" ...
Now ...
That Said ...
There are a number, of Users/Patrons, with some experience, who Participate in this "Community.FamilySearch" Forum, helping/assisting; where, they can.
This "Community.FamilySearch" Forum, HAS been quite successful over the YEARS, with helping/assisting Users/Patrons.
It is sad, that you consider otherwise.
Furthermore ...
Due, to the unfortunate recent 'Demise', of the 'FamilySearch' "Support" Case Management System, early LAST Year; and, with NO immediate alternative (ie. "System"), the 'FamilySearch' "Support" (Personnel), were basically "Moved" 'holus-bolus' (ie. Included) into the MIX of, this "Community.FamilySearch" Forum.
NOW, this "Community.FamilySearch" Forum, is a mix, of BOTH, Users/Patrons; and, 'FamilySearch' "Support" (Personnel), helping/assisting, Users/Patrons.
So, this "Community.FamilySearch" Forum, is even MORE robust and helpful, that it ever was.
As such ...
Question: So, what seems to be the problem/issue?
Please advise.
There are many, willing to help/assist; where, they can.

Have always appreciated the assistance of Family Reaserch.
Yes I know there are many out there who are willing to assist & I have received such help myself in the past.
I just find that these days communication is So Much more Difficult. When I would like to make a comment or request it takes hours to find where I can do so. The Support site - Once so easy to access is TOO COMPLICATED . I hate the lists of 'most asked questions' ... etc. They Never these days have an area that I can 'tick' my questions - OR they suggest accessing sites/links not available to me.
My intention is not to 'bad-mouth' Family Search - Only to PLEASE ask that you retain many of your Old Ways of connecting to researchers - particularly those with limited IT access.
Perhaps someone will understand,

You are not alone ...
MANY of us would NOT disagree with you ...
The OLD 'FamilySearch' "Support" Case Management System, worked well.
Unfortunately, it is no more ...
Do not despair ...
We can STILL contact 'FamilySearch' "Support" via/through either, the "Telephone"; and/or, "Live" ('On-Line') "Chat", depending on where you live in the World; but, the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum, is now where 'FamilySearch' "Support" ALSO operates.
Here is a "Knowledge Article", in 'FamilySearch':
Contact Us
https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/contact-us
So ...
That Said ...
(1) For a "Private" communication ...
Contact 'FamilySearch' "Support" DIRECTLY via the,
(a) Telephone; and,
(b) an "Live ('On-Line') "Chat"
To keep the communication "Private", if you are directed back to this "Community.FamilySearch" Forum, insist that you do not want to do so; and, prefer that the matter be handled "Privately".
Whereas,
(2) For a communication is "Public" view ...
'Post' HERE in "Community.FamilySearch" Forum; and, HOPEFULLY, the "Moderators" [ ie. 'FamilySearch' "Support" (Personnel) ] HERE in this Forum, can TAKE the MATTER directly into the workings of 'FamilySearch' "Support", to help/assist you; and, communicate with you "Privately" via/through either, ("Private") 'Messaging' in 'FamilySearch' (or, the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum); and/or, DIRECT "E-mail".
And ...
IF, you want, keep any 'Post' here, in the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum, to a minimum, devoid of, "Personal" Information about one's self; and, even, not providing information about any Ancestors, just a precis of the matter; and, requesting a "Private" communication directly from 'FamilySearch' "Support" (Personnel).
------------------
Hopefully, a "Moderator" [ ie. 'FamilySearch' "Support" (Personnel) ], here in this Forum, WILL take any matter, into the Workings, of 'FamilySearch' "Support", to better help/assist.
------------------
Just remember, that this is, the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum; where, EVERYONE, can "Participate" ...
All the best ...
I know, that this certainly may not help/assist; but, I hope, that this may provide you with, some additional, insight; and, perspective; and, another avenue to pursue.
