Why does Tree show I changed all this information by just adding United States
Julia Murphy [GCF6-K66]
All I did was standardize the place. Added United States .
No wonder I have been getting "strange" questions about deleting other peoples work.
Then Tree shows I did all the following::::

When you edit any conclusion or information on a person, it will show that you changed it last. So when you edit a conclusion and pick a better standard, it makes sense that it would show you had changed that information.
However, editing a location does not mark you as deleting a relationship. If you look at the change history for you person, it shows each edit that has been done. (https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/changelog/GCF6-XVD)
While editing a location should never make it appear that you are deleting a relationship, if it does happen again, please let us know that this has happened multiple times and the engineers will have to figure out what is going on .
