    Newbie here,

Was there a set age (working in Caroline and Spotsylvania Counties 1700s and early 1800s) at which one was exempt from taxes? I have two individuals (1) Caroline Order Book 1764-1765, p. 222, "was exempted from paying county taxes" and (2) Spotsylvania Minute Book 1805-1807, p. 221 as “being aged and infirm.” Hoping to use this information to get an approximate age. Both would likely be between 60-75.
