My wife had this sent to her from a friend in Norway.

When FamilySearch is set to Norwegian and one wants to set a stepchild relationship, the editing box looks fine:

"Ste-" being a shorted form for "stebarn" would be the same as the Family Tree use of "Step" for stepchild in this view.

However, when you save this, it appears like this:

Trinn does mean step, but only a step on a ladder or a stairway. Trinn is also used in the context of a level as in "skoletrinn" (school level) or "lønnstrinn" (salary level). However, it has nothing to do with family relationships.

Please correct this and replace Trinn with Ste-.
