Preamble:
Please be, aware; and, advised ...
That there MANY be, a possible Fault/Flaw, with regards to, the NEW feature/facility/function, in our 'FamilySearch' Account', of our "Settings", under (our) the (NEW) "Profile" 'Tab', in relation to "Add Portrait".
Background:
The other Day, I accessed, MY "Settings"; and, in particular, the (NEW) "Profile" 'Tab'.
I then, proceeded to (eventually) successfully add a "Portrait", that was 'Approved' - ALL Good.
The "Image", was AUTOMATICALLY added, to the "Memories" 'Tab', of MY (Personal) "Profile", in the "Family Tree" Part, of 'FamilySearch' - ALL Good.
And, as an aside, I already understand, that; as, I am a "Living" individual/person, that I am recorded, in MY "Private Spaces", of MY 'FamilySearch' Account; and, ONLY appear to (ie. 'seen'/'accessible') ME - ALL Good.
Possible Fault/Flaw:
The "Portrait", was (obviously) "Approved", through/by "Image Moderation".
[ and, I might add, within a short period of time - ALL Good ... ]
But ...
That Said ...
That ("Approved") "Portrait", DID NOT (soon after) AUTOMATICALLY appear; as, MY "Portrait", against MY (Personal) "Profile", in the "Family Tree" Part, of 'FamilySearch'.
Nor; as, My "Avatar", in either,
(1) 'FamilySearch'; and/or,
(2) the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum.
I considered, that such MAY need (at least) x24 Hours (ie. "Overnight") to ACTUALLY 'take hold' (ie. be "Synchronised").
So ...
That Said ...
I left, such, for a time ...
Subsequently ...
I went BACK, the NEXT Day; and, the ("Approved") "Portrait", from MY "Profile", of MY "Settings", of MY 'FamilySearch" Account, DID NOT appear; as, either:
(1) As MY "Portrait", against MY (Personal) "Profile", in the "Family Tree" Part, of 'FamilySearch';
NOR,
As MY "Avatar", in either,
(2) 'FamilySearch'; and/or,
(3) the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum.
Question:
IF, the "Portrait", in OUR (Personal) "Profile", of OUR "Settings", in OUR 'FamilySearch' Account, in the "Family Tree" Part, of 'FamilySearch', has NOTHING to do with either:
(1) OUR "Portrait", against OUR (Personal) "Profile", in the "Family Tree" Part, of 'FamilySearch';
NOR,
OUR "Avatar", in either,
(2) 'FamilySearch'; and/or,
(3) the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum.
THEN, ... WHAT ... is its purpose?
As, I am just curious ...

Can you please, investigate; and, advise, if the "Portrait", in OUR (Personal) "Profile", of OUR "Settings", in OUR 'FamilySearch' Account, in the "Family Tree" Part, of 'FamilySearch', is working PROPERLY (ie. as 'Designed'); or, not.

As an aside ...
BECAUSE ...
The NEWLY added "Portrait", in MY (Personal) "Profile", of MY "Settings", in MY 'FamilySearch' Account, in the "Family Tree" Part, of 'FamilySearch', did NOTHING, I have subsequently, added ANOTHER (Similar) "Image", that was (ALSO) "Approved" (ie. Passed "Image Moderation"), to the "Memories" 'Tab', of MY (Personal) "Profile", in the "Family Tree" Part, of 'FamilySearch'; and, set such; as, MY "Portrait".
And, by the way, the latter of which, ALSO appeared, within a VERY short time; as,
MY "Avatar", in BOTH,
(2) 'FamilySearch'; and/or,
(3) the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum.
Just so that you are aware.
