A child marked "slave" has listed in the father's column a name, followed by "estate."

Do I use the name listed in the father's column, or mark the father's name as "blank?" There is no entry field for "owner " or "master" or "mistress." In this particular situation, the person reporting the birth is listed as "mistress" and her last name matches the name given in the father's name section. This would make me assume that the name in the father's column is not the father, but is instead the name of the estate owner.

I just noticed that if the child born is a slave, the name in the father's column is that of the owner. In which case the father's information would be marked blank.
