Above is my batch code which I am sharing with you. In this batch, the wife's birth date is typed beneath her age. Should a second strip of information (I can't just now remember the name of where the fields are housed) be added, entitled "Birth" so that her birth date can be recorded? Or should we just ignore that birth date since the "Marriage" strip doesn't ask for it?

Ignore those birth dates since there is no field for them. Only the age is to be indexed.

Also ignore any birth dates for any children born to the couple that might be typed in at the bottom of the form.

Once the records are published, researchers will often be able to view the corresponding online image and gather the additional dates.
