I live in Japan and would like to activate my account.
I would like to know who should I contact in order to activate my account. I’d like to setup my family tree and then add records if possible.
Thank you in advance! :)

@STManson Thank you for using the community and asking this question. Your account at FamilySearch is already activated. If you need help to "set up" your family tree we suggest that you go to familysearch.org and signin. Then go to
found in the upper right corner of the page. Then scroll down until you see:
Click on that and it will help you to begin your tree.
We hope that this will answer your questions but if not please reply here and we will try something else.
Good luck in your quest.

@Dlog , I think @STManson may be referring to the special authorization that is needed to use FamilySearch in Japan. This is mentioned in the Terms of Use:
"Moreover, due to local legal considerations in Japan, we do not generally allow residents of Japan to access this site. In some instances, subject to legally necessary measures and controls, we may allow limited access to specially authorized individuals and registered Church members in Japan. "

FYI
I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...
Just in passing ...
Further to; and, in support of, what 'A van Helsdingen' has already proffered ...
Here is the RELEVANT "Knowledge Article" in 'FamilySearch':
I am in Japan and received an "account not authorized" error
Where, it states, among other things:
Quote
------------------
In Japan, only authorized users can access FamilySearch Family Tree. To become an authorized user, please contact FamilySearch Support.

I hope, that this may also help/assist, somewhat.
