Date of Death Defaults to 0001

Any suggestions on how to get this glitch corrected, is greatly appreciated!

I've tried numerous times to enter the correct date of death, and it appears to "take" in some areas, however other areas it defaults to 0001, causing errors such as 'death before marriage,' 'death before birth' etc.

@Sandra Shirah see this thread where I helped someone else with the same issue a couple of days ago. https://community.familysearch.org/en/discussion/comment/426584#Comment_426584

I just went in the record for L6LS-5SQ now and accepted the standard event date, so it's been fixed.

There have been several questions this week about dates doing strange things. Since these all seem to stem from not having a clear understanding of how dates get entered and stored in Family Tree, I threw together a brief presentation on how to enter and edit dates that I hope will help. I'm posting this on the other questions about dates as well.
