I am indexing tax records and see things like "Store by Baker St" or "Rear Entrance of Store"? I'm assuming I just put in "Blank" ????

I still am not sure what to do. I know I am only supposed to index names of people. So do I ctr+B the line where the name should be if what I see is "Store by Baker St"?

If you only see the words, Store by Baker street, there wouldn't be a record indexed. Please share your batch code to get a more accurate answer. The batch code is the series of letters and numbers in parenthesis after the project title. You can put the information as a comment.

It is always good to share the project title too, like:

India—Madras Diocese Protestant Church Records, 1743–1990[M3H5-WR6]

Yes, you only index names of the people. You would not create a record with Blanks for the street names.
