Indexing Group Administrators
I think it might be a good idea for Group Administrators in Indexing Groups to have their emails or some other contact available for indexers to reach out to their group leaders if they have questions on batches they are working on. Or perhaps a chat line just for those groups? Particularly for Wards and Family Groups just so there is someone who may be able to assist them when they have concerns or questions.
Just a thought?

FYI
I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...
[ And, I happen to be a Member of the Church ... ]
Certainly a great suggestion.
Just in passing ...
But ...
That Said ...
Having travelled around the World, I know for fact, that ...
In some cases, some of the "Administrators", of the "Indexing" 'Groups', in the various Wards/Branches, are certainly, NOT; as, knowledgeable; as, some of the Participants here in this "Community.FamilySearch" Forum.
Whereas ...
Do not get me wrong, MANY of "Administrators", of the "Indexing" 'Groups', in the various Wards/Branches, ARE, in fact, "Very" Knowledgeable; but, there are some, that are not.
The OLD (UNFORTUNATLEY now, 'defunct') 'Group', of "Indexing Chat"; and, the NOW 'Category', of "Indexing', in this "Community.FamilySearch" Forum, have participating Users/Patrons, with a WEALTH of "Experience", that is unsurpassed.
Just my thoughts.

ps: PLUS ... WHAT is REALLY needed ...
There really NEEDS to be, a "Messaging' facility/function/feature, WITHIN the "Indexing" System itself; WHEREBY, individual members, of an "Indexing" 'Group', CAN directly "Message', the "Administrators", of that 'Group'; because, as it stand at the moment, such is ONLY a ONE-WAY Street; WHERE, the "Administrators", can ONLY send out, a 'Group Message' - there SHOULD also be the ability for TWO-WAY communication (and, also on an individual basis), through the "Indexing" System itself ... 'food for thought' ...

I think you and I are on the same page - I believe that would be most helpful. Hopefully someday in a perfect world...

I believe there is a problem in getting feedback to the appropriate individual / section no matter of what nature. However, communicating with anyone "further up the chain" in the "FamilySearch Indexing Department" (if there is such an entity) is particularly difficult for indexers and general users alike.
It would be great if they could make themselves available, as there are some issues (often generic in nature) that the "expert indexers" (you know who you are!) just cannot address.
