@Brett . Sorry, but I don't know anything about how those groups work.

I was not even certain, whether or not, such were actual 'Groups'; or, in fact, actual "Projects"/"Batches".
I just thought, that there were some actual "Projects"/"Batches", that one NEEDED to be "Approved" for, just to participate.

ps: As this was in the 'Category', of "General Questions", rather than that of "Indexing", I just thought, that you two would be better suited to respond.

Sorry - way above my pay grade. My experience was that I joined an indexing group once and loved their project too. In the midst of "housekeeping" a few months ago, I decided to leave their indexing group. Sadly, I forgot I would no longer have access to their project. They haven't accepted my request to rejoin.

@Brett . You were right to bring it to the attention of Indexers. I'll have another look at this.
Below is a description of the group that @Hoopes Fred Russell mentioned. It is a "Request to Join" group. Maybe try requesting again. Or, @Hoopes Fred Russell, perhaps you should private message Ruth Merriman (I found a Ruth Merriman1 in the community). I won't tag her here. I'll leave it to you to sort it out with her privately. Maybe she can help you understand what happened and perhaps reinstate you. Good luck.

I thought that there was something ODD about it ...
I definitely could not find, such a 'Group', in the "Groups" Section, of this "Community.FamilySearch" Forum.
I thought, that just maybe, such may be a 'Group', that is "Hidden", from Public view; but, was not certain.
Or, possibly, a SPECAIL 'Group', in/for "Indexing".
So, it turns out, that the latter was the case.
'Thank You', for that.
We definitely learn something new, every day.
Brett
ps: I just DID NOT want this post, getting LOST, in the 'Category' of "General Questions" ...
