Problem with 1841 UK census record
Sorry, this is not a question, but I noticed today when attaching a record from the 1841 census
that there is an indexing problem. The Event Place is given as (the church) Wakefield All Saints, but this should be (and I checked the image at Ancestry) Stanley cum Wrenthorpe. This problem will certainly apply to many records from this parish. Can someone please forward my comment to the appropriate person to correct the records.

@Peter M Smith1 Thank you for alerting us to the inaccurately standardized place in the 1841 England and Wales Census (and for making it easy for us to see what the problem is). We will get this over to the group that maintains our record collections. Because they have quite a few of these sorts of problems to deal with, a fix will not be fast in coming.
Meanwhile, you can still use the record as a source for your ancestors and document the current error. You can add a note in the "reason to attach" field. You can also edit places when you pull them over in Source Linker.

Hello, @Peter M Smith1 - I'm not one who can help address the issue, but I did want to thank you for the well laid-out and thorough post. :)
