Question: WHAT do you mean by "... Double Notifications ..." (ie. "... 2 notifications ...")?
Please explain.

@Dawn Duckworth , to clarify, if you do the B & C do you get a notice you did the B and a notice you did the C or do you mean you get 4 notices all together? Also you may want a Mod to transfer your question to the Temple category.
I went in to check my Temple messages to see if I were having the same issue, but for some reason all my previous Temple messages have been deleted, only my last trip is showing. Strange because I usually leave the last several showing. Maybe I deleted them and forgot, anyway I will keep an eye out to see if I see the same problem as you.

Unfortunately ...
The "System", actually AUTOMATICALLY, "Deletes"/"Removes" OUR "Notifications", after a period of time ...
[ And, that is from ALL of those "Categories" (ie. "Discoveries'; 'General'; 'Tree'; and, 'Temple' ) ... ]
I have been COMPLAINING, about such, for some time ... to no avail ...
As, I often, LEAVE various "Notifications", with the intention, of getting back to them, at a later date ...
Unfortunately, when I DO, go BACK to THEM, they are GONE ... AUTOMATICALLY, "Deleted"/"Removed" ...
Quite annoying, actually ...
Especially, if certain ones, have been left, for further investigation, at a later date ...
I gather, that such is DONE; so as, NOT, to CLOG the "System"; which, if ALL were left 'in-situ', would eventually, "Slow" the "System", down to a "Crawl".
It is just annoying, if certain ones, have been left, for further investigation, at a later date ...

Thanks @Brett . that clears the mystery of my missing notifications. I think the purge is a little to quick.

When I perform an endowment and that endowment is recorded, the app notifies me on my phone that "Temple Ordinances have been Completed" twice at the same time. It does the same thing when multiple ordinances are completed and recorded at the same time such as when my kids perform baptisms and 24 ordinances (12 baptisms, 12 confirmations) are completed. The app will send the same notification twice at the same time.

I just had a 'look' at, my "Notifications", for "Temple", in BOTH,
(1) the ORIGINAL "Computer" Web "Version"; and,
(2) the "Mobile" Application "Version',
of 'FamilySearch'.
And ...
Firstly ...
There is a DISCREPANCY, of sorts ...
As, 'Chas' indicated ...
The ORIGINAL "Computer" Web "Version", ONLY, lists the LAST "Notification", for Temple Work, that has been "Competed".
In other word ...
ALL the OTHER, previous "Notifications", have been 'summarily' DELETED by the "System".
[ As, I DID NOT "Delete" them ... and, not happy, with that ... ]
But ...
That Said ...
Whereas ...
The "Mobile" Application "Version", ACTUALLY lists ALL the OTHER, previous "Notifications"; but, unfortunately, when selected, NOTHING happens.
I consider, that as a ... DISCREPANCY ...
Secondly ...
With, at least, the "Titles" and 'Dates', from the "Mobile" Application "Version', of 'FamilySearch' ...
I had a 'look', through my "List", of Temple Work, that has been "Competed" ...
I noticed, that "Ordinances", are listed individually ...
Thus ...
That Said ...
Question: Are you certain, that the DOUBLE "Notification", was no more than, "B" and "C", done on same day?
And ...
IF, there were a NUMBER, of "Ordinances", done for the SAME individual/person, on the SAME day; THEN, that there are MULTIPLE "Notifications", on the SAME day - which, in fact, would be the case.

First, I don't have a problem with the system deleting my notifications. They are left until I delete them, which for me is fairly quickly.
Second, I'm positive that the app is sending me two notifications at the same time and it doesn't matter how many ordinances were completed. When I complete 24 (12 baptism and 12 confirmation) ordinances, they are all recorded at the same time, and I receive two notifications. When I complete 1 endowment, I receive two notifications after it has been recorded. If I complete back to back endowment sessions, the ordinances are often recorded at different times. Since it takes several hours for the temple recording system to upload to FS, sometimes I'll get 2 notifications for both ordinances, and sometimes I'll get 2 for each one (4 notifications). This last example also occurs when I've done an ordinance myself, and later in the day someone else completed an ordinance that I have shared with the temple.

We asked a supervisor about your duplicate notifications. We were advised to ask "Do you belong to the Dawn Duckworth family group and have they contributed ordinances to the group?"

I have 3 family groups, but none with my first name in them. Besides, this was happening long before family groups existed.

I also get 2 email reminders for every reservation I make.

Sorry that didn't resolve the issue. It was suggested you go to your Settings and check notifications.

Check, the "Notifications", of your "Settings", in BOTH,
(1) the ORIGINAL "Computer" Web "Version"; and,
(2) the "Mobile" Application "Version',
of 'FamilySearch'.
Check to ensure, there is NOT a "Conflict', between them - ie. one set a one thing; and, the other set as another.
I have already, raised my concern, that this is, a DISCREPANCY, in our "Settings", for "Notifications", between, the ORIGINAL "Computer" Web "Version"; and, the "Mobile" Application "Version', of 'FamilySearch'; where, that concern, has been passed on to the Programmers/Engineers to investigate.
[ The problem/issue is, that the two (x2) "Systems" are involved; and, may take some time to check ... ]
Just my thoughts.

ps: I mainly/principally, ONLY use, the the ORIGINAL "Computer" Web "Version", of 'FamilySearch', for the REAL work; and, ONLY use, the "Mobile" Application "Version", of 'FamilySearch', for "Show" and "Tell". As such, I have NOT 'Fiddled", with the "Settings", in the "Mobile" Application "Version"; and, I do not seem to get any DOUBLE "Notification", for the SAME "Ordinance".

There isn't a Notifications setting in the app, and I've already checked Notifications in the online version (nothing that would indicate why I would receive double notifications).

I think, that I have identified, a DISCREPANCY, that MAY be causing, CONFLICT ... Along the same lines ...
To Wit ...
There appears to be, a DISCREPANCY (and, hence CONFLICT), of HOW the various messages, are received; between, the ORIGINAL Computer "Web" version, of 'FamilySearch'; and, the "Mobile" Application, of 'FamilySearch', most probably; CAUSING, problems/issues.
EXAMPLE:
(1) ORIGINAL Computer "Web" version, of 'FamilySearch'
What actually happens, if you have ENABLED, the receive, of "Text Messages", in the "Settings", of your 'FamilySearch' Account.
Although, that particular "Setting" ONLY references:
Messages from Other Users
Receive a text message when another user messages you through FamilySearch.
And, NOT the MANY Other messages ...
Email Messages
FamilySearch Information
Receive emails that contain tips, inspiration, news, and Rootstech Information.
Discoveries about My Ancestors
Receive personalized emails about your ancestors.
Messages from Other Users
Receive email when another user messages you through FamilySearch.
Receive and Offer Help
Allow me to receive an invitation from a helper, or send an invitation to help others.
Shared Temple Ordinances
Allow others to share temple opportunities with you.
Family Groups
Receive emails related to group activity.
ie.
It would appear, that "Setting", to "Enable" the receipt, of "Text Messages" (via. a Mobile Device); through, the ORIGINAL Computer "Web" version, of 'FamilySearch', MAY cover ALL of the above - like it or not.
WHEREAS ...
(2) "Mobile" Application, of 'FamilySearch'
The "Mobile" Application, of 'FamilySearch', is much More COMPLEX ...
Settings ...
Subscriptions ...
Notifications ...
Hm ...
.
TOTALLY Different ...
.
WHICH takes "Precedence" ... and, more importantly ... WHERE ...
.
Hence, possible DISCREPANCY; due to, the CONFLICTS ...
.
That is a matter, that definitely NEEDS to be investigated; and, addressed/fixed.
Just my thoughts.

Online Settings: Text messages is off and I do not receive text messages, so this appears to be functioning properly.
App Settings: My Subscriptions on the app are the same as my online Subscriptions, but I can't find a Notifications screen on the app like you posted above.

The "Notifications", is the NEXT one BELOW "Subscriptions", in the "Settings".

I don't have the screen you posted. I have an iPhone. My app has Settings tabs across the top: App, Account, Profile, Subscriptions. None of these tabs include anything about notifications.

That makes the situation/circumstance even worse ..
Two (x2) DIFFERENT versions, of the "Mobile" Application, of 'FamilySearch', across different platforms ...
ie. The "Android" version having ONE thing; and, the "Apple" (ie. iSO) version having ANOTHER thing ...
No wonder, there is, so much, confusion; problems/issues; and, discrepancies ...
